Dave his wife Cathy, and followers of his previous church founded Church of the Resurrection in April 2021 in Saratoga County, New York.
Dave+ previously served 14 years as a rector in The Episcopal Church. He resigned his position to begin an Anglican church with strong Biblical Roots as an ordained minister with ACNA (Anglican Church of North America.)

With a desire for the truth found in scripture, and in obedience to God's call, Dave+ has planted this new Anglican church in Saratoga County, under the leadership of the Anglican Church of North America (ACNA).
He had previously served 14 years in the priesthood with the Diocese of Albany of the Episcopal Church, under the leadership of Bishop William Love.

Dr. Henry serves as assistant pastor to Fr. Dave. He is a former military officer, missionary, and bible teacher. He holds an MAR from Westminster Seminary, and a PhD in New Testament Theology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Illinois. After being widowed a number of years back, he was recently married to Debra. They make their home in Delmar.

Deacon Susan Plaske was ordained in the Episcopal Church, June 2011 and transferred her diaconal ministry to the Anglican Church in 2021. She is directing the Sunday School Program, facilitating the Grief Hope and Healing Support group and is the Chaplain to the Daughters of the Holy Cross at the Church of the Resurrection. Deacon Susan is married to Kenneth of 44 years. The couple has 5 children and 7 grandchildren. She has recently retired from the New York State Department of Health.

Dave Haig's journey includes training as an actor and director, a professional singer, a licensed builder, a husband, father, a man in recovery, and more importantly, a servant of God. He married his childhood sweetheart, Cathy, in 1982 and they have three married children: Ryan, Jesse and Shelly. In 2000, Dave answered a call to begin the ordination process for the priesthood with The Episcopal Church. Having been received into the process by the Bishop of Albany, he attended Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Upon graduation he was ordained to the diaconate and ordination to the priesthood on December 17, 2006. He then served at the Community of Jesus on Cape Cod, MA for 7 years, St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Albany, NY as a Curate 2013-2014, and at St Luke’s on the Hill in Mechanicville, NY from 2014 -Spring 2021, when he resigned from The Episcopal Church.
